Tasmanian Photography Tours are extremely happy to offer you four amazing days photographing the stunning wildlife and landscapes of Tasmania with Australia's leading wildlife photographer, and International Wildlife Photographer of the Year - Georgina Steytler!
Your accommodation for this epic wildlife photography experience is 'The Lodge' on Bruny Island. Set amongst 860 acres of private, pristine bushland in remote South Bruny, The Lodge offers a unique experience as it combines comfortable, well-equipped accommodation with spectacular native bushland and wildlife at the doorstep. There's no need to leave... but we will, because it's Bruny!
This tour also includes:
- A private tour at Raptor Refuge where you can see and photograph rare and endangered birds
- A visit to Bruny Island Cheese
- Dinner at Bruny Island Premium Wines and Vineyard
- Comfortable transport in our luxury rated tour van
Our workshops practice ethical wildlife photography.
The welfare of the animals always comes before getting shots. We do not use call playback or otherwise deliberately disturb or lure birds into the open (ie. unnecessarily increase stress levels and/or risk of predation just to get a photo). If you want to learn how to take images of wild animals in fabulous locations and natural habitats, then you will be right at home on one of our tours.
