Outback Australia Photography Tour 2028

A new photography adventure is taking shape

In 2027, I’m packing the cameras, hitching up the caravan and taking my family on one seriously big Australian adventure.

We’ll leave Hobart and head north, travelling through South Australia, the Red Centre, Cape York, Arnhem Land, Kakadu, the Kimberley, Karijini and some of the wildest corners of Western Australia before eventually making our way home. A big half lap of this sensational country.

Along the way, I’ll be spending time personally photographing the landscapes, wildlife, people and places that make Australia extraordinary. I’ll be seeking out sensational locations, checking what permits are required to ensure safety and compliance plus working out the best times to shoot and discovering the stories behind the people and places I encounter. I’ll uncover the hidden gems, best places to eat and sleep plus loads more.

But there’s another reason for the journey. When I come back, loaded with all of this knowledge I’ll be developing a brand-new Australian Photography Tour!

Not a rushed highlights reel. Not a tick-the-box road trip. A carefully crafted photography experience built from months of personal exploring, photographing and deciding what is the best of the best. Keep an eye on my socials to see the highlights.
